The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — College Station Drainage Improvements

This project focused on improving drainage around the church meeting house in College Station to help protect the building from water intrusion and long-term moisture issues.

Work began with the removal of existing landscaping to allow for regrading the exterior soil. The soil was carefully contoured to create a positive slope, ensuring water naturally flows away from the building foundation, reducing the risk of pooling and seepage.

Additionally, the project included the removal and replacement of six sump pumps located in the building’s crawl space. These pumps are critical in managing groundwater and preventing water buildup beneath the structure. To improve air circulation and reduce moisture levels in the crawl space, ventilation fans were also installed, along with the necessary electrical connections to power both the sump pumps and fans.

Overall, these improvements were designed to protect the structural integrity of the building and create a more stable, dry environment around and beneath the church facility.
