The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — Kingwood Drainage Improvements
This project addressed ongoing water intrusion issues at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house in Kingwood, Texas, particularly during periods of heavy rainfall.
The work began with regrading the surrounding landscape to create a positive slope, allowing rainwater to naturally flow away from the building's foundation. This grading was carefully planned to reduce pooling and prevent future water damage.
In addition to the regrading, we renovated the existing landscaping to ensure it complemented the new drainage design while maintaining a clean and welcoming appearance.
To further improve water management, new storm drain lines and collection boxes were installed. These systems help redirect large volumes of water away from the building and surrounding areas, reducing the risk of flooding and water intrusion during severe weather.
These improvements not only protect the structure but also enhance the overall safety and usability of the property for church members and visitors.
